Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. Contractual Relationship and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions regulate the access to and use of the browser extension, future native desktop applications, AdBlock Network's edge DNS infrastructure, and the website adblock.network (hereinafter collectively referred to as the 'Software' or the 'Services'). By installing the extension or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part, you must not install or use the software.
2. Software Licence Agreement (Freemium & Premium)
Juan Romero Domínguez grants the user a software licence subject to the following terms:
- Personal and Non-transferable Use: The licence granted (both for the 'Freemium' free tier and 'Premium' paid tier) is individual, for private, non-commercial use, and is non-transferable. Resale, distribution, sublicensing, reverse engineering, or decompilation of the extension is strictly prohibited.
- Freemium Tier: Allows the use of basic local filtering rules for generic ad servers on a single device.
- Premium Tier: Provides access to additional advanced rules (blocking malware, phishing, manufacturer telemetry networks, gambling portals, and adult content) with hot-synced updates. Usage is limited to the maximum number of browsers/sessions specified at the time of purchase and linked to your registered email account.
3. Subscription, Renewal, and Cancellation Policy
AdBlock Network Premium licences operate via recurring monthly or annual subscriptions managed automatically:
- Billing Ecosystem: All payment processing, banking data storage, and renewal control are handled through the secure infrastructure of ExtensionPay (licence processor) and Stripe (secure payment gateway).
- Automatic Renewal: Unless cancelled before the end of the current period, your subscription will automatically renew and the corresponding fee for your chosen plan (monthly/annual) will be charged to the registered payment method.
- Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the licence management dashboard provided by ExtensionPay within the extension. Cancellation will stop future auto-renewals, while maintaining Premium functionality until the end of your current billing period.
4. Disclaimer Regarding Browser Technical Limitations
AdBlock Network operates at the browser level and depends entirely on the technical architecture provided by web browser developers (such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, etc.). Therefore, it is stipulated that:
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The user acknowledges that AdBlock Network is not responsible for loss of functionality, service degradation, or inability to apply filtering rules caused by unilateral changes, security updates, or technical restrictions imposed by Chromium or app stores (e.g., quota restrictions on the declarativeNetRequest API in Manifest V3).
The software is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without express or implied guarantees that it will block 100% of malicious or unsolicited network elements, as ad-blocking evasion techniques and domains are constantly evolving.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Juan Romero Domínguez’s total liability to any user for any damages, claims, or losses arising from the use or inability to use the software shall be strictly limited, in aggregate, to the total amount actually paid by the user for the subscription to this software during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
5. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed in their entirety by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, conflict, or legal claim arising from the use of this software or this portal, the parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Spain, waiving any other venue that may otherwise apply.
6. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time due to regulatory changes or product updates. Changes will be posted in this section with the last updated date. Your continued use of the software following the effective date of the changes constitutes your tacit acceptance of the new terms.
