How to Shield Your Edge Browser Against Command & Control (C2) Servers

If a malicious script compromises your browser, it will attempt to communicate in the background with a remote Command and Control (C2) server to receive instructions or exfiltrate your saved passwords.

Halting C2 Outbound Connections Locally

Command and Control traffic attempts to bypass default OS antivirus checks. AdBlock Network drops this traffic at Edge's network perimeter. The extension makes asynchronous read-only requests to multiple independent endpoints to refresh the firewall, denying outbound requests via the Address layer.
