Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Contractual Relationship and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern the access and use of the browser extension, future native desktop applications, the DNS perimeter network infrastructure of AdBlock Network, and the website adblock.network (hereinafter, collectively referred to as the 'Software' or the 'Services'). By installing the extension or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. If you do not agree to any part, you must not install or use the software.

2. Licensing Terms (Freemium & Premium)

Juan Romero Domínguez grants the user a software license subject to the following rules:

  • Personal and Non-Transferable: The license granted (whether under the free "Freemium" or paid "Premium" plans) is individual, for private, non-commercial use, and is non-transferable. Reselling, distributing, sublicensing, reverse engineering, or decompiling the extension is strictly prohibited.
  • Freemium License: Allows the use of basic local filtering rules for generic advertising addresses on a single device.
  • Premium License: Grants access to additional advanced filtering rules (malware, phishing, hardware manufacturer telemetry blocks, gambling domains, and parental controls) synchronized on the fly. Its use is limited to the maximum number of browsers/sessions indicated during acquisition and linked to the registered email address.

3. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewals, and Cancellation

Premium licenses for AdBlock Network operate on a recurring monthly or yearly subscription managed automatically:

  • Billing Infrastructure: All payment processing, card retention, and renewal controls are executed via the secure environments of ExtensionPay (licensing manager) and Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway).
  • Automatic Renewal: Unless cancelled before the end of the current billing cycle, your subscription will automatically renew, and the designated payment card will be charged for the next period (monthly/yearly).
  • Cancellation Policy: Users can cancel their subscriptions at any time autonomously through the license panel provided by ExtensionPay inside the extension. Cancellation stops future renewals while keeping Premium features active until the pre-paid billing cycle expires.

4. Liability Exemptions for Browser Technical Limitations

AdBlock Network runs client-side and depends entirely on the technical architectures and features provided by web browser developers (such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, etc.). Therefore, it is agreed that:

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The user acknowledges that AdBlock Network is not responsible for any service interruptions, degradation, or filtering blockages stemming from unilateral updates, security changes, or technical constraints imposed by Chromium or extension stores (such as rule limits in the Manifest V3 declarativeNetRequest API).

The software is provided "as is" and "as available," without express or implied warranties that it will filter 100% of unsolicited or malicious network blocks, as advertising bypass techniques and domain threats evolve continuously.

Quantitative limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Juan Romero Domínguez to any user for any damage, claim, or loss arising from the use or inability to use the software shall be strictly limited, in the aggregate, to the total amount actually paid by the user for subscription to this software during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

5. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed entirely by Spanish Law. For the resolution of any dispute, claim, or legal action arising from the use of this software or portal, both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Spain, waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply.

6. Modifications of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time due to regulatory amendments or product updates. Changes will be posted in this section indicating the latest revision date. Continued use of the software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
